I have no idea if its the best deck to bring.
Late posting, but as promised, here’s what I had last Saturday legacy tournament that I attended.
I managed to win 3 games out of my 1st four games (losing only to dredge) before bowing to my 5th round opponent reanimator.
I won vs. gobs (2-1), UB control (2-0) and a reanimator (2-1).
I had little changes in my main deck, I replaced all 4 might of old krosa with 4 giant growth. Lessen two jungle lion and changed it to 2 sylvan library. Lessen my fetches from 7 to 5, 11 forest from 10. And added my 4th seal of strength in replace of a fetch. ^_^
Sylvan library was awesome. It easily refills my hands but a costly 8 life pts.

Simic Charm is it good in this deck?
It protects creatures and can potentially pump. Real downside is the 2 cost
If you fail to explain the reason behind your choice, technically, it's the wrong choice.
Zerk Thread -- Really, fun deck! ^^
Gui, what is your opinion on Strangleroot Geist? I've done little bit of testing and it seemed to be really good. Good job updating first post! Thou I have to disagree some (maybe meta) choices, like 2x Scryb Sprites.
Been thinking more about Slaughterhorn. It seems better and better; lacking +0/+1 vs GG while being uncounterable should be enough. But it also plays around Chalice@1, Trinisphere, Thalia and Lodestone Golem. Even more, it is also creature, which might be relevant after Wrath. Have to admit, I really wish it would have been like Garruk's Companion with bloodrush instead of Trample. Maybe too good standardwise.
Gotta give Berserk Stompy a new shot in next tournament around here. Gonna test those Slaugterhorns!
It was more like an update to add Dryad Militant to the list. Playing without her in the deck right now is simply wrong, so...
I haven't given all the new cards a try, but it seems like there are some worthy options. Geist looks good in theory, and Paeng has been using it. Slaughterhorn also looks good, but the "need to play during combat" makes it a little worse. Probably a viable pump anyways.
If you fail to explain the reason behind your choice, technically, it's the wrong choice.
Zerk Thread -- Really, fun deck! ^^
Slaughterhorn is a card that's must be use aggressively. Unlike its cousins, which you can use defensively.
Anybody here tried including Burning tree emissary. The R/G R/G 2/2 comes into play produces RG mana? It also looks promising. It's like having another copy of a Rushwood Legate main deck. Any thoughts on it? I'll give it a shoot and will let you guys asap of its performance.
@gui
Strangleroot's haste ability is a nice tech if you're praying for a creature during mid game. I remember, there were occasions that strangleroot's haste gave me the win.

Hey Gui, could you explain your sideboard choices for the updated list please? :)
"If you're playing Storm in Legacy, you need to believe that what your deck does is better than what their deck does."
Been away for a while at RUG Delver camp. Was fun stay there until boredom and I was about to change to BUG Delver which felt like deck more suitable for my play style, but had major problems getting Bayous at all. So I picked my pet deck Berserk Stompy once again. There is a WPE coming up on next Sunday and here is what I was about to go in with. As food for thought, there's also shortish report at first from more casual tournament from last Wednesday. Without further ado:
R1 vs. Delver RUG
G1 Nothing much to say here, according to my notebook, once Invigorated and that was about it. Bolt-Delver-Daze still rocks.
G2 Bit more of a game here. Tiny bit. Saved my dude from Bolt once, but Mongoose was bigger than my army. Then Tarmo happened. 0-1
R2 vs. UW Miracles
G1 This is weird. How can game end when I am ahead 32-23? Well... t2 Invigorate, Berserk, Berserk didn't work agains't STP. Then Energy Field landed and had no outs.
G2 There was some Magic the Gathering this time after all. After landing Needle against Top on t1 I thought there might be a game here. Followed with t2 Geist and t3 dude into Terminus wasn't actually how a planned it. Had even a new shot comboing at table afterwards, but RiP into Helm was more than I could take. 0-2 (First Slaughterhorn played here, hard cast)
R3 vs. S'n'T Hivemind
G1 Militant into Geist, which met FoW. He played EoT Intuition into Win via HM-Pact.
G2 Funny games, started with again with Militant into Geist, which met FoW again. Played another Geist and it was fast enough.
G3 Best won ever with this deck. I played t1 Forest, Nettle, t2 Forest, Geist. He played t1 land, t2 sol-land into Intuition into 3xShow and Tell. There I was on an empty board waiting to final blow. So I went with Seal, Attack, GG. He was at five. He Dropped Emrakul. I won. 1-2
R4 vs Undercity Informer Combo.
G1 Beats didn't make it. Mox-Ritual-ritual-U-R-Out.
G2 Choose to keep devastating hand with Militia and Pithing Needle,
G3 Worst Magic ever. I'll Mull into 4, with no-lander with needle and Faerie Macabre. No combo on his behalf, until his dead.
Anyways decklist goes:
3x Jungle Lion
4x Nettle
4x Skarrang
4x Militia
4x Silhana
4x Geist
4x Berserk
4x Invigorate
4x Rancor
3x Giant Growt
3x Seal of Strength
3x Slaughterhorn
16x Forest
That Slaughterhorn was actually better than I thought...

Good Luck fellow zerk! let us know what will happen on your tournament.
And as for the SB, 4 Mindbreak Trap, 3 surgical extration, 4 choke, 4 rushwood legate
Make this elephant dominate just like it did during its prime!
^_^
I did use this last Friday in a mini legacy tournament in which only 6 of us participated.
This is my friends' way of preparing for two legacy events here, Legacy Wars 8 ( July 21) and Duel for Duals ( Aug 4). We had it single round robin in which only the top two will only get the pot money.
Here's my results:
affinity 2-1 luck did save me as far as i can remember. ^_^
UW stoneblade 2-1 speed was the key here
UB reanimator 0-2 i hate elesh and iona.
burn 1-2 silhana didnt showed up during 3rd game.
mbc 0-2 i hate disrupt spells.

3 Vine Dryad
3 Noble Hierarch
2 Strangleroot Geist
Spells: 18
4 Berserk

Can't believe how good NH is in the deck. Went 2-1-1 in a 12 man tournament and placed 4th overall ^^

My brother celebrated his birthday with a small legacy tournament with his college friends. He invited me to which I did not declined for this is a perfect time to play my favorite deck. Due to bad weather on that night, only 6 showed up. And we decided to have a single round robin with the first and second placers getting a 70% 30% split on the pot. Here's my chronological match ups.
-RG Land-Destroyer deck 2-0
I miss this deck but showed no mercy in this match up.
-oops no spell (without SB) 2-0
The guy is just new to legacy and he's still on the process of learning the deck.
- BW Zombie (modern like build) 2-1
In our third game, good thing Shilhana has Hexproof.
-Burn 2-1
G3: A second turn Pyrostatic Pillar is no match to a turn three kill via seal of strength, Rancor on a Jungle lion, invigorate and Berserk.
-Knight Deck 2-0
Scryb Sprites to knights, "Knights, why you no fly?!" ^_^
I got 70% of the money. And used it (together with the 30% of the second placer) to buy more beer and food.
^_^
Anyone here care to play this deck in any big legacy tournament in his area?
We have an upcoming legacy this weekend and I have this feeling that this deck will give a good fight.
Our meta here is full of RUG, BuG shardless, GW Mavs, Dredge and Esper. What do you think guys?
Thanks
^_^

Anybody tried Burning Tree Emissary? It seems like it will be better the more sorcery speed pumps you play (Rancor, Old Krosa, Seal of Strength) -- but probably trade down on mana.
I don't think she will be that good for us.
Among the Theros cards, this caught my eye for our deck
In situations where we do not have the combo pieces of pumps spells for berserk, we can use this to do a little tempo-ing in our favor. And if it gets countered, well that's good because he just wasted a counter spell.
What are you thoughts?

Hello again.
I played the deck at BoM for two events during November one,
(i) the last bom trial for two bye; and (ii) an 8-man pod single elim legacy tournament.
I sleeved the following cards:
14 forest 2 fetch
25 creatures (3 strangle, 4 silhana, 4 kavu, 4 nettle, 4 jungle, 4 skarggan, 2 scryb sprites)
19 pump (4 berserk, 4 rancor, 4 MOOK,4 invigorate and 3 seal)
SB (4 mindbreak trap, 2 vexing susher, 3 rushwood legate, 3 tormods, 3 obstinate baloth)
I won the 8man pod beating UW miracle, AnT and a sneaky show.
But was not very fortunate during my BOM trial. I won vs jund and rug. I lost to rub and loam then dropped.

edit:
*since there's no new post aside from this one, I decided to post my brief tournament report here.
Yesterday we had our monthly big legacy tournament where 54 players attended.
My chronological MUs are as follows:
URW patriot 2-1 *game one 2nd turn kill via jungle lion + invis + berserks
UW Miracle 2-0 *game two 3rd turn kill via 2 rushwood + invi + MOOK + berserk
AnT 1-2
Elves 2-0 *game one 3rd turn kll via boogle, + invis + berserks
Valakut 1-2
Sneaky Show 0-2 *1st turn emrakul on game one, priceless.
3-3 for 23rd out of 54.
I'll try my luck next time.

Hi guys,
Below is the list that I'm currently running, I would really appreciate your feedback or any needed changes or problems that you see. Thank you.
16 Forest
2 Pendelhaven
2 Inkmoth Nexus
4 Elvish Spirit Guide
4 Gitaxian Probe
4 Berserk
4 Invigorate
4 Might of Old Krosa
4 Vines of Vastwood
2 Groundswell
2 Blight Mamba
4 Necropede
4 Ichorclaw Myr
4 Glistner Elf
I went with a mono green version out of budget considerations. However, I am able to accomidate a light white or a light back splash, or both. The the two colors I can't splash due to budget concerns and my card availability are blue and red.
I tried this (albeit in a clunky experimental heroic deck), and it's quite situational. At times, it just had one target. At other times
it just stucked in my hand 'cause my opponent destroyed all my creatures, or worse, they destroyed them as this spell was on the stack (if I had Vines of Vastwood, i'd rather play the kicker cost than play this). Drawing (maximal) two is good, but sometimes it just drew a land and a spell (where you needed a creature) or land and a creature (where you needed a spell).
This deck improved quite a bit with the printing of new hexproof creatures, but I think what this deck is missing is a low-cost, flexible card that can act as a creature and pump spell at the same time (like Briarhorn or bestow creatures, like Boon Satyr, but at a much lower cost. Perhaps in Born of the Gods / Journey to Nyx? We can dream...)
That aside, what do you guys think about splashing blue for True-Name Nemesis? It's an unblockable (and blocks Batterskull quite well), safe target for the pump spells & berserk, and a must-answer card for many opposing decks. Downside: It costs three mana, and double blue as well.
PS: @Captain Hammer: that's a different deck than the one in this thread. I think there is another thread for Berserk Infect somewhere in this forum.
