Some people are willing to pay some premium for them (mainly "pimp" players), but dealers and some collectors offer less for them. Cards that are not only signed but also altered by the artist are even harder to sell (but again, a very small amount of people are willing to pay much more for them, like for the altered Terese Nielsen Forces of Will).

As an Alpha collector I also prefer non-signed over signed.
    Cool story bro.

Picking BB P9 and Duals, cards most likely to be submitted for the ripoff that is slabbing is an exception to the rule.

Alters are a waste of time unless it's by a high quality artist doing repair work on a very damaged card (Klug). Of course garbage sharpie alters like garbage running out of ink thick tip sharpie signatures will devalue a card. Common sense is still applicable across the board here.

Jkjk, that deck is sweet. I don't really like foils, but I can appreciate the heaping pile of value.
Languages and dates for every set. For all you true pimps.

I too prefer thin tip black signatures, then silver if double signed. Blue > Purple > Red > Gold in that order.

A few I prefer in thick flat tip (not round) sharpies are Aleksi Briclot and Steve Argyle signatures.

I've got a couple of signed Jap foils for my stock Reanimator list on the way soon.

This took a number of years. But the fleet is complete. Aces high.

    adding to a previous talk

Today was russian legacy championship for 95 players
Did not play cause it is not interesting format for me. I came to take photo of rufoils decks for you, this:

    and this:

But i saw lots of foils i need... 2x ebay's price and higher
also 2 place is very positive guy, who said once that fetchlands are too expensive to play them. He is cute but one of the worst players i know, he used burn. So I lost balances respect to legacy
Don't you mind i post some EDH and baneslayer-like staples?

That awkward moment when you step into a thread and everyone is just waiting for somebody to a) change the subject b) say "just kidding" or c) keep talking and make it worse

God I love City. It's shameful that WotC printed Mana Confluence.

Sorry that happened to you :(

I don't use MOTL for the reason you just stated, people lie, cheat and steal.

Mana Confluence is better than City of Brass when there are Tangle Wires running around.

I understand. But one is beautiful, one looks like box art from some shitty starcraft clone. Its a shame city has been obsoleted.

    +1

I will always use city because I'm not afraid to take the damage. If I see confluence in a deck list its automatically being changed for city.
