This is the dawn of a whole new era in Legacy!!
...
oh wait. I'm just hallucinating staring at this Wizards of the Coast webpage clicking "refresh" every second.
They do not even waste 10 seconds to think about it, Land Tax and Worldgorger Dragon last two cards unbanned, no one ever used that, still many useless/interesting cards in the banlist and still nothing changes... what a shame
That shut you guys up quick.
Not even trash got unbanned. WotC just don't care.
What a freaking joke. They just don't care about Legacy at all, apparently. I mean, at the *very* least they could have banned Dig Through Time.
Nothing? Not a single thing?
Format's been looking good, Magic in general has been looking good, why would they change anything? What would people on the forum do if they actually banned the cards people want banned?
No surprise nothing wasn't touched in modern, doubt they want to ban anything mid season and there isn't really anything super dominant
No changes in legacy, really, red was 7/8 for gp lille and not even a peep, aw man.
one thing I noticed recently, probably should have noticed before but never thought about, is That there is no card legal in Modern that is banned in Legacy.
So i think they are unlikely to ban dig in legacy and leave it in modern, and it is not a problem in modern so they can not justify the ban there.
though I also think Dig is currently over used in Legacy, and the current levels are more of a fad. Meaning that is not actually strong enough to justify a banning
How does "no changes" equate to them not caring about Legacy? That "no changes" was probably one of the best things I've seen all day, with its only real competition so far being pretty sweet cosplays of Domino.
Barring the unbanning of utterly inconsequential cards like Hermit Druid, ham-fisted and irrational cavings such as unbanning Oath of Druids or an Affinity-level ban are the only other changes Legacy could have seen. If not being able to play with Black Vice is the price I have to pay in order to avoid Wizards from meddling with the only player-moderated format left in the game, then so be it.
Well, I was at least hoping for an unban of something inconsequential so I could have something new to play with. I guess not. It's time to play DTT decks I suppose.
