Maro had already confirmed she would ages back.

No surprise! Since Sorin is BW Walker now, Liliana is the only Black Walker that isn't "bad enough" to teamup with the Power Rangers aka Gatewatch (it was clear because the black oath is still missing).
Obviously they are back to finish Emrakul/Eldrazi and since storytelling (at least for the final) isn't a show of strength from Wizards the Rangers around Dr.Jace will beat up our lovely Alien Mother - As expected... At least it seems they need help from another Ranger (Tamiyo). I hope we don't see: "Chandra burn Eldrazi Titans to death again". I cross my fingers, that Emrakul is only sealed at the Moon or any other stuff that ensure we get a comeback in a couple of years. The Magic-Multiverse is lacking of a force against the Power Rangers... what is left? Phyrexia? Bolas?

It looks like Emrakul does indeed get sealed in the moon as it's from the same silver as the Helvault. That makes at least more sense than LOL HEDRONS and "Kill it with fire!".

I noticed. That was a nice touch.

Not even the first expansion released, we already know how the story of the whole block ends. Good job, spoilering more with that artbook than any Hollywood movie trailer already does (containing already all the gags for instance).

So, the Superfriends/PowerRangers beat the last Eldrazi Titan and turn the exciting Innistrad into a boring plane and wipe the biggest threat to the multiverse beside Bolas? Whats next? Kaladesh aka Chandras Homeworld for more 6 mana red planeswalkers and artifact creatures with Bolas pulling the strings? Zzzzz....

The entire storyline feels extremely rushed now since they're forced to resolve the story within half a year instead of one.

Having threats pop up and resolved within the same set isn't good storytelling. Not that Wizards had that before, but now it's blatant how bad it is. "Ashaya" and Meme'rakul dialog spam are just the tip of the iceberg.

I wouldn't be suprised if the New Phyrexians are next on the chopping block, getting unspectacularly stopped by a plane-specific Mac Guffin in the second set.

Just wait for Karn joining the Power Rangers and them killing New Phyrexia and restoring Mirrodin *puke*

Yes but you could make the same argument for natural order and plenty other two combo cards, like path the exarch in response to splinter twin...
I think eldritch evolution will be a thing but like all other combos it will have to play around disruption

Newsflash: Elves have stopped playing Natural Order just because of that in the current metagame

Right but the difference between a 3-mana sorcery beating permission in modern versus a 4-mana sorcery in legacy seems like night and day. That and elves and natural order were still a deck in a blue-dominated format up until recently

Yes, then the gatewatch can take place in that silver robot and they can go crush evil Phyrexian robots. The thought had already crossed my mind.

Storylines in this game have always been weak, but it's getting worse and worse. A bunch of teenage whiny emo bitches who go from plane to plane stomping out evil. Next block they'll probably put this new power rangers gang in some sort of uniform.

Oh that's right! Duh. Nevermind, scrap the combo deck idea - Remand exists.

It's the same reason I don't play any creature with toughness less than 4, because Bolt exists.

She better just be sealed up. I want my Eldrazi vs. Phyrexians: "The Brawl To End It All" block, dammit.

Twenty Kavus and a Dream is NOT a Legacy deck.

They should team up and wipe the multiverse from Jace & Chandra. God, I hate both so much

    Jace's Death B
    Instant
Until the end of the game no player may play a planeswalker with the subtype of Jace.
Destroy all planeswalkers with the subtype of Jace.
    Thank God
