If you aren't, i'd recommend running a cabal pit somewhere in your 75. I'm not really sure if you can manage that in the DD lists but it makes the d&t matchup so much more tolerable. I'm also a big fan of Chandra, Torch of Defiance in the matchups where you are getting mooned postboard. I tried flamecaller Niklas top 8'd with it but it ended up being really slow.
What did you end up cutting for the Rallier? The card seems very good in any fair matchup. Not sure what to cut though, may have to run 61 :S.

It's unfortunate that Rallier cant get back a Knight or a Lili. Seems like the ideal play is to waste them, Rallier, and waste again. I'd probably want to try Tireless Tracker before him though. I've played against Tracker in some Maverick lists before and that card gets way out of hand if you can untap with it, or play it and immediately play a fetch.
Yeah, I just felt that maybe if I had just kept playing the lands instead I'd have reached the Slaughter Games mana before bloodmoon hit.. though I'd still be hoepeless after he DID cast BM agains the 2/2 prowess.
As for Crop Rotation I sided it vs Sneak Show, Elves, Infect and Grixis (for bojuka), and it reeeeally shined vs Elves. He trampled over me G1, but on G2 I managed to get the first combo piece with Reliquary - which got Decayed - and then I drawed into Crop Rotation which allowed me into a quick end to the game. On G3 I started with most of the combo in hand. 2 lands, thespian stage, Crop Rotation, bob and some removal. I went playing lands and killing a couple of elves, then once I hit the third land I combo'd him. It also stole me a game vs Infect.
And yes for Lilianas, 3 of them. In G1 vs SneakShow before playing the Sneak Attack I just remembered he also played Show and Tell for Griselbrand, and me for Maze of Ith, and then the following turn I played Liliana, but of course it never landed after drawing into 7 cards.
I really wanted to try that but nobody selling cards had it that day. This Chandra looks really powerful and would have certainly saved me from Miracles, as i drawed into Slaughter Games both g2 and g3 - and Chandra would have worked under a blood moon or two.

Have you seen this? The Japanese cut Knight for Tracker and Rallier. Scroll down a bit for the list.
What do you think of this?
It's certainly a nice change of pace.. it loses some dinamicity like searching for Karakas or Maze if needed, also no combo, but the possibility of drawing so much is pretty cool. Also what's Glissa the Traitor is doing there? Maybe I missed the point.
It's funny to have the centaur since I was just discussing about how Terravore used to be back in the day. Pretty cool tech.
I had some pretty scathing things to say about it here
My main gripe with cards like Glissa is she just gets dismembered and you have nothing to show for it. Knight advances your gameplan while on defense.

First section deals with a pretty successful player with a fairly stock list, but some flair:
Main:
Cabal Pit
Golgari Charm
Maze of Ith
Side:
GQ
Tabernacle
Chandra, Torch
Maze of Ith has been a staple since its inception.
Cabal Pit I believe is a concession to Prelate, also since he is not running the combo(DD+Thespian) it opens up a slot.
Cabal Pit also fits the needed color that the slot would preferably have.
Golgari Charm might be a concession to the meta online(not sure) but he was running Pulse previously. I believe the slot of the charm, the 3rd liliana, and the slot of the cabal pit are the somewhat flexible slots of our tight tight decklist.
Regarding the sideboard:
CG never tested it;
Tabernacle I was never happy with(although I have limited playtesting with it and the meta already moved a couple of times since then);
Chandra I also never tested it, but for a while people are trying to fit an extra planeswalker in the list. I remember Johannes Gutbord used an Ajani Vengeant and recently some people were running Arlinn Kord. Maybe Chandra is better than those but at first glance I really do not like of the double Red.
Mats_ is a user here. I've been on one of his older lists for a while and I have to say that it's pretty solid. I think the standout cards are the cabal pit main and the chandra in the side. The cabal pit is fantastic in most of the fair matchups but it really shines in the d&t matchup where your opponent can just sit behind a prelate before and you would just sit there losing the game. Chandra is basically a removal spell/win condition bundled into one card but thecan be awkward to get in matchups where your opponent is also playing wasteland. GQ is rarely more than a 5th wasteland that also hits non-basics but we really have no way of abusing it like Lands does. Tabernacle is just another card for the fair matchups, you can play a board wipe and it has a similar effect.
Have any of you been having trouble with the assorted range of BUG decks that have been popping up? Do you guys have any advice for this matchups? It seems to me that I should really just start playing the Dark Depths combo to go overtop them but at the same time I would like to keep my cycling lands and cabal pit. Too many cards to play, too few slots![]()
Assuming you are talking of 4C Leovold or Bug Control list
Would advise to cut the cabal pit and add an extra land for the combo.
If not playing combo(I am not) just look at the matchup as you look at Shardless BUG, their card advantage is on the low side compared to shardless but they execute their plan better.
I have been mostly prioritizing removal on the shamans and wasteland. Their manabase is not great and their finishers are not he best.
Against Reid Duke's list the matchup is a bit different. Your sweepers are stellar but few so I would actually be on the aggro side if possible to put myself ahead on the race.
I always forget whether or not Maze is an auto-include, especially once Depths enters the picture. I feel like it fell out of favor during TNN's initial surfacing.
With tools like GQ and Cabal Pit I wonder if Crucible could be of interest instead of Loam (and as an extra card against Prelate locks), but that might be excessive. It would likely be in place of a Liliana.
I think it's always been worthy of a mainboard slot considering it's interaction with giving Knight pseudo vigilance for combat, which I've found to be critical when coming from behind. Eldrazi has also brought out it's utility when groves and karakas no longer go the distance.
That's possibly correct. I was leaning toward bringing a TNN or Landstill BUG list to FNM this week, but I've been considering another Loam for a while (I don't run the combo) and maybe it's time to try Crucible out. My instinct is that it probably isn't good enough without Exploration, but maybe I'm wrong.
