I agree with the sentiment that creatures can't be the worst cards in Magic because they're capable of winning the game by themselves. However, if you're claiming that a 0/1 Wall is a potential threat, then so is Cathedral of Serra (with a Barbed Field) or Arcum's Weathervane (with an Animate Artifact).

Mudhole is actually useful against some playable cards: Life from the Loam, Terravore, and Knight of the Reliquary, to name a few. And it's even an instant!
