I'm also waiting for the low point, but do not think it will go as low as you're thinking. Keep in mind the price of each MM17 pack...
Eventually, all reprintable Legacy and Modern stuff will decrease in price. Only original set foils will keep their price and rise slowly when collectors buy them. Almost nobody wants MM2 foils for example.
Show and Tell, Berserk, Karakas you name it for Legacy.
Voice of Resurgence, Goblin Guide, Goblin Piledriver, Tarmogoyf you name the reprint for Modern.
If you don't need the cards for playing and just collect them, it is good time to cash them out or trade them to power and old school stuff.
Food Chain has surged now up to about $45 each. I've picked a pretty poor time to get them...
My brother just nabbed his playset from a local store at $22 each.
Online the NM Eternal Scourge is sold out at $0.49 each, had to settle for the SP $0.40 version.
The deck is definitely growing in popularity.
This is a general reprints question: If a card has been reprinted as a masterpiece, does that decrease the likelihood that it will ever be reprinted in an upcoming set as a rare or mythic? Has WOTC stated anything about that anywhere? Would be keen to hear what you guys think.
Random reprints could come any time, even in Duel decks. I cashed out Canopies, Food chains, Groves, Baubles and other too expensive stuff for what they do.
Forget Top, the question is, how low can Tundra go?
I foresee many up for sale in the coming days...

According to the MTG Finance Reddit page, the logic is that EDH players were the ones busting packs of Conspiracy 2 in order to crack this guy. Now that he's banned, those players will stop busting packs which reduces supply drastically. Demand in Legacy has never been higher and may continue to rise, so those two factors may lead to a steady rise in price.

He's already on his way back to something around 50. Been watching the "action" unfolg this afternoon, someone put pretty much all of them into his cart; at one point the only one left was 250€+. Ever since since he's been dropping to regular levels again, currently at around 60,- € and falling.
The seven cardinal sins of Legacy:
1. Discuss the unbanning ofLand TaxEarthcraft.
2. Argue that banning Force of Will would make the format healthier.
3. Play Brainstorm without Fetchlands.
4. Stifle Standstill.
5. Think that Gaea's Blessing will make you Solidarity-proof.
6. Pass priority after playing Infernal Tutor.
7. Fail to playtest against Nourishing Lich (coZ iT wIlL gEt U!).
