How many decks do you have?
I count 12 in the first 4 pages here.
Do you lug them all around or just bring the ones you feel like using that night?
I'm pretty sure Pili-Pala combos with Grand Architect to make infinite mana for your staff and Memnarch to abuse.
That depends on what you mean by "have". What I actually have is ADD when it comes to this format. I keep Wort and Saffi (which I don't think is posted here) together all the time and lug them around to events and such. I also throw things together when I'm in the mood to brew and/or get bored. Often times I'll build a deck, play it once or twice, and decide it's not really my thing...from there, it's on to the next thing. I do like the feedback though, it helps when the mood to brew next strikes.
Pili-Pala is an infinite mana combo with Grand Architect...except it's so terrible on its own. I'm not sure it's really worth it.
I see Cloud key on wishlist, Etherium sculptor in deck.
I would recommend Helm of Awakening with Sensei's Divining Top and Future sight/Magus of the Future. Does not matter if you also include Brain freeze or not.
...the advance of computerisation, however, has not yet wiped out nations and ethnic groups...
Top should be in here regardless, so I'll find some room. Can't believe I forgot that one...
Helm of Awakening could be good given that the deck is mostly colorless (combo with Top not withstanding). As for Future Sight/Magus of the Future, I'm not sure if that crosses the line into "that guy" territory or not. It does make me want to play the Mind's Desire I keep thumbing past every time I build something new...
I guess the "Top Combo" is a lot like the Mycosynth Lattice I also didn't include. It just seems too easy, you know?
When I was testing Memnarch in my monoblue I used a lot of blue infinite mana combos such as with Palinchron. Most of them are quite complicated and consist of 3 separate cards.
Even when game ended up in a manner when I collected every permanent in the game i never was "that guy". The reasons why:
a) Memnarch
* "Its an artifact creature. Anything you can imagine can kill him."
* "Mycosynth lattice is an useless card. It does nothing. Playing it in a 2 card combo does not fix that"
b) Infinite mana combos I had at that time
* "Its very low probability that you collect 3 cards for a combo
Honestly, there was but one game when oponnent had complants on Memnarch. When I included Top/Future sight/Sculptor combo for the first time nobody ever considered it to be broken. Again the reason like "you require too many cards".
Now I mostly play with one playgroup. Combos are OK, and everybody knows what is going to happen when some cards hit the table. Previous playgroups were not fans of combos, and barely were able to understand why are some cards good even if the CMC was 4+.
...the advance of computerisation, however, has not yet wiped out nations and ethnic groups...
What about Eye of Ugin? It does not search only for eldrazi...

High Tide or Phantasmal Image with Palinchron?
