Well, they printed an Elf and Merfolk that warped the format, so we're due for a Legacy Goblin card.

I mean, we are the lucky ones. Mountain has had more printing's than any other card in the game, even Island and the other basics. Thanks to Arabian Nights, the set they forgot to print the other basic lands in, we can afford Mountains at a reasonable price. I don't even want to think about how much they'd be otherwise.

    Aside: Guru Mountain not included.

If I edit a post without an explanation, I am just correcting typos and / or formatting.

I'm really hoping legion loyalist wasn't our "goblin to warp the format". If it is, i has such a sad.

    Hello,

I would start to show some points in playing Akki Blizzard-Herder.. well, I started for the bad ones, and gave up LoL

We really dont have any two drop that is worth testing right now (WI, Pile, Mogg and Grenzo are being tested right now).

We got very funny goblins in this new set, as we did in the last one.. Grenzo was a hope, but I dont know if wizards is trying to give us a weapon and are afraid of giving us a good one that they would have to ban it right away, or, if they really forgot about the green man.

Crafter into Sting is a little on the lucky side, but it was a cool interaction for the matchup. I still think Stingscourger is an awesome card and certainly worth a MD slot. I've won many games off of a SnT into Stingscourger.

crafter i thought was pretty much pure garbage. Both those games were pretty fun to watch. I do feel that goblins has a decent pairing against S&T decks just because they can tutor up an answer via matron.

Personally ive not had alot of luck with instigator and anything requiring a pitch (chrome mox/pyrokinesis). I feel like its kinda a crap-shoot whether or not instigator can inflict damage, have a card to pitch and something meaningful to put into play. When instigator works it seems totally busted other times I curse the card. Goblins will always be playable as variance will always be a large part of magic. Goblin settler though........no warchief atleast? On second thought no, these lists looked like someone on acid put them together.

I don't think that is really fair to say...
Keep in mind these were 12 and 13 player weeklies. So you can try things you might not at an SCG Open.

It looks to me like the pilot wanted to maximize his chance of connecting with a Lackey/Instigator. The Pendelhaven grows both bigger than DRS or SFM. Maindeck Kinesis, Incinerator, and Tarfire also work toward this plan.

Keep in mind his meta has a Reanimator deck that runs 4 Delver and 4 YPyromancer.
Lots of Elves too... and no Miracles?

Not saying I'd run Pendelhaven maindeck in a build without a reason for , but some context seems important.

A little harsh. The decklists are fine. They have plenty or removal and are clearly geared towards beating fair decks. Since they're all-in on Winstigator they added a Kiki-Jiki toolbox. Pendelhaven works to boost his Lackeys and Winstigators. Chieftain is better than warchief because he has 12 ways to cheat goblins into play, so the reduced mana cost from Warchief are less relevant. That's fair. The two Gardeners make up for the list not running Ports. The sideboard is clearly geared to beat combo, equipment, and Goyf. I'm not sure what Jitte is all about. I guess it's pretty fucking good with Winstigator but you're just never going to draw it. So, yeah, it makes sense to me. I like that he's not running MD TSH and went with Scrapper instead so he could Kiki Jiki it.

Both these decks look super playable. Solid mana bases, clear gameplan, and good sideboard.

Oh, and posters here have had a lot of success with Winstigator builds with Chrome Mox. Playing it with MD Pyros is the same idea, he's just trading a better G1 against fair decks for a faster potential start across the board. This build has very little chance of beating Combo G1 anyway, so why not?

And there it comes, my first non-goblin related posting in this thread:

    DEUTSCHLAND IST WELTMEISTER!
    Mountain Caverns, Lackey, Go.

If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchanges our apples, we each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange our ideas, we each have two ideas.

When you Germans say it, it sounds a bit dirty

As we would say in the Netherlands: gefeliciteerd met het verslaan van die Argentijnen!

Now I will sing 'Schade Argentina, alles ist vorbei'!

Andddd... back to reality *snapping with my fingers*

The Jitte is for the burn matchup, which is a relatively popular deck online. You want a card that is playable outside of that match-up, so you want to try and avoid popular choices like Zuran Orb, CoP:R, and Dragon's Claw.

Well, being italian i'm not enthusiast that Germany won .... now we both have 4 cups. But reallistically Germany deserved to win, it was the best team , although not particularly brilliant yesterday .... so , congrats and get drunk with moderation XD
