Over/under on percentage of people complaining that the venue was barnlike who have ever been inside a barn?

Well, as you can make up from this post on Reddit it was barn-like. It did remind me of some barns where they sell cows etc: so did someone else who commented.
They have barnyard animal shows there often and I just burped really loud.
Tusk Up
It was barn like, that wasn't really that bad. It didn't smell like offal or cow shit. The bigger issue is that, that convention center (unlike the in town one) is surrounded by a mile deep parking lot. So you can't walk to it. Hotel shuttle was the best bet, otherwise it was $8 parking every in and out or an Uber or two every day. The nail is that even if you made it through the fucking asphalt desert, there is actual nothing in the surrounding .5 miles. It's fast food, hobos and fucking tractor repair places.
Airport hell is airport hell. In my experience pretty much every GP is held in that city's airport hell.
Instead of exploring around the expo centre, buddy and I explored inside it. Got into the stadium area where I guess one of those neo-fascist rallies that are so popular down there happened lately, because we snagged one of those fucking hats. (Hard to come by here because foreigners can't contribute to American political campaigns.) Played some Love Letter in the room reserved for some fancy club that had a bunch of paintings of dead rich white guys.

Good cast. Ha I forgot I told Josh about my R1 opponent with no DCI #. That guy's friends really fucked him over by dragging him to a $75 tournament with shoebox-level commons and no idea of what awaited.
I totally agree with how much of a bummer it is that Leo is blue, because it's such an awesome effect, but like you said it's too bad that it just breaks Brainstorm mirrors instead of being a defense for decks against the card. I love sticking one as well -- whenever my opponent is playing Maze or Punishing Fire there are quite a lot of re-reads.
That card being BUG actually doesn't make a ton of sense. I guess the pseudo-Chains effect is in black, but most often white, and Rayne, Academy Chancellor was blue, but that effect feels white as well. Nothing really feels green about it at all other than his pointy ears. I suspect they just didn't want to make it a strict upgrade to Spirit of the Labyrinth in a set that also had Recruiter of the Guard and Sanctum Prelate. Could've been BWG or WG or BW, and a different creature type, and actually driven some deck construction decisions.
But in a format that already has a mana dork playable off an Underground Sea, plus Abrupt Decay for emergencies, and the blue cards for consistency/protection, AND Fatal Push coming, I imagine we're only scratching the surface of this card's impact. I hadn't even thought of the Cephalid Coliseum trick until now and what do you know: Intuition, Loam, Unearth all in the same colors as this guy.
Ew coliseum. That's dirty. I wish I thought of this one.
Too ambitious for a deck with Leovold, winds of change, burning inquiry and coliseum?

It's a draw engine for the person who has it in play, and a potato in the tailpipe of the person across the table. I think that would be fine if it didn't also synergize with your own existing draw engine, but it's like counterbalance that way: You don't really have to make any deck-construction decisions when you play it other than "play BUG" which is trivial with duals, fetches, cantrips, and DRS.
At least you can bolt this thing unlike Counterbalance though.
Looks like BUG colors helped WotC spread the love across the pie for limited.
Legendary creatures in Conspiracy 2:
Adriana, Captain of the Guard
Grenzo, Havoc Raiser
Kami of the Crescent Moon
Leovold, Emissary of Trest
Queen Marchesa
Selvala, Heart of the Wilds
So that's:

Cheers for the cast. The Mind Twist/Earthcraft/Recruiter rant at the end was golden.
Also, inclined to agree with Nedleeds that 2018 will be the no-standalone-Legacy-GP year.
These casts are amazing.
I hope I'm wrong but I can't help feeling the brutal treatment of Louisville with respect to coverage and the way they've repositioned Eternal Weekend(s) to be on the opposite ends of the year, an idea which I like, will mean the end of stand alone Legacy GPs. I think Vegas is going to exceed all expectations and be a massive success, I hope it's a yearly thing. For adult eternal aficionados with expendable income it's basically the best thing ever, I'm super happy WotC had the foresight to offer Legacy for the adults traveling there.

We made the mistake the first night saying "eff the shuttle it's like a 3min walk to the center" then realized we had to walk around a goddamn theme park and traverse that void of a parking lot. Playing vintage all weekend was the right choice; although sorry to the tusks and friends of tusk that had to play yet another dredge MU.
Although I enjoyed your literal shout-out to Pikula
I think the reason for the change to the ban announcement has everything to do with reactions to the last 12 months. If they could have banned Eye faster they would have. Then Modern would not have had three GPs dominated by Eldrazi. Then feedback that Standard right now is a 3 out of 10? They are not seeking to shape a format before and after the PT, they are seeking to dodge the Eldrazi bullet again.
