Yes, yes it is. Also, pimp is in the eye of the beholder.
It's funny because almost every German would trade his cards for the English equivalent without any hesitation.

That's because it only sounds dumb in the owners ears. But Swedish cards would be effin' awesome.
The one Arabic card they did looked so sick. I wish they'd continue that.

craptalk ...
so many people i know are playing german cards over english cards because it is their native language.
also german is considered more pimp than english which results (most of the time) in slightly higher prices for german cards than for their english equivalents. no one i know would generally trade german for english.

I agree completely. One day I was really bored so I looked up a bunch of different alphabets. By far the coolest were Urdu, Korean, Arabic, and Aramaic. It would also be awesome to get bazaars and AN cities altered to be written in arabic, but you would need to find a calligraphist.
I like the full art Mutavault sitting in the corner.
that is the prettiest bunch of Merfolk I've seen.
"Craptalk"...yeah, that makes a point. I'm sorry if your peer group doesn't go with the general trend but unless it doesn't matter English staples like FoW, Goyf etc. will always sell higher than German ones. Only by a slight margin but it is in existance. I'm not talking kitchen table Magic players that want their cards to be in the native language.

you simply said that "almost every German would trade his cards for the English equivalent without any hesitation" which is just not true - and it does not matter if it is about competitive or casual magic. staples - especially foils - in foreign languages are more rare and german ones tend to sell for more.
as you mention it - english forces go for more than german ones ? nice joke :)
the fish deck is very nice. many lovely foils. well done even if think i would do it a bit more uniform regarding the languages.
ohh ... and what is the card left of the middle wake trasher ?
you mean hebrew and sanskrit ?![]()
Hebrew is similar to Aramaic. Urdu is spoken in Pakistan and seems to have some ties to sanskrit, but looks quite different. Here is force of wills textbox in Urdu....
