Brainstorm

Phyrexian Dreadnaught

As worded, it only stops Top. Brainstorm actually draws the cards and you only see them when they are in your hand. Fetchlands read 'search', not 'look', so I don't think it would do what you want.
Either way, we're delving into Obligatory Shitty Card Creation.![]()
They can still play Mentor and go nuts playing 1 mana spells.
You'd want something more like:
Miracle Stopper
Enchantment
Cannot be countered, Indestructible, Hexproof.
As long as ~ is in play, you cannot lose the game and Miracles players cannot win the game.
Council's Judgment exists. Are you even trying?
Disen-shatter RW
Instant
Disen-shatter cannot be countered by activated or triggered abilities.
Destroy Target Artifact or Enchantment.

Split Second
Kicker-you may pay an additional X instances of 1colorless mana
Destroy target artifact or enchantment, if this was kicked you may destroy an additional X target artifacts or enchantments.
Destroys both sdt and cb for 3mana
I was trying to warn you above that your efforts belong in the Obligatory Shitty Card Creation Thread. Responses there are going to be more constructively critical.
But you doubled down instead...
No big deal, just a leyline of lifeforce, stranglehold, Spirit of the labyrinth, and Pithing needle naming Sensei's divining top all stapled together for 1WR and uncounterable. Seems reasonable.
Still gets stopped by Nevermore or Meddling Mage out of the board. To be truly fair and balanced it needs to let you reveal it from your hand to change its name.
Guys we are way off the beaten track here. There is a thread for this shit, please use it and leave this one for masterbation over Brainstorm. Because we all know that is more productive.
Brainstorm should be banned to make Thoughtseize better #ontopic
As someone who plays Modern a fair bit, I am use to discard now. It just kind of happens. Will say this though, a format heavy on discard incentives its player base not to invest in single card dominant strategies. Cheerios for example dies to discard backed up by anything that can punch hard. This means its not a good deck to play and win with. In Legacy, this would push Storm harder into a pit after you take Brainstorm away. Not that I am debating keeping BS, my views on the card are public knowledge at this point, but its still something to think about.
