Edit: it's funny how the same card travelled a lot in a single year ^^ this demonic was a friend's one who sold it along with a mana vault, a balance and a sol ring to another guy i know, then Andrew got it in Paris along with the vault (ring?) and there you are. After following this forum for a while I have been able to see others who shared a passion for pimping out their decks like I did. Now though, I am entering a new phase of life where unfortunately I now need the money I invested over the course of the past couple years in pimping out my decks. I was thinking that you all who shared this passion with me would be the most interested in knowing that many notable pimp cards will be on the auction site withing the next day or so. Including a foil japanese Decree of Pain, foil Jace the Mindsculptor, foil nicol bolas planeswalker, foil Karmic guide, foil crucible of worlds, foil high market, foil unhinged lands and many many many more. So to any interested make sure to keep a look out as I could definately use all your help.

hm, still missing 4 cards for my t1 deck before i can entirely post it...

i´ll run 6 fetches in it, so far i have 2 misties and 2 tarns, but instead of running 4misty/2tarn or 3misty/3tarn i wanted to go 2delta, 2misty, 2tarn, all jap foil, but i never see any of those online (except pizzero´s playset that went pretty cheap, but i want 2, not 4 of them :P). i dont wanna go with strands because i just dont like the art and U/W is a boring combination.

if anybody knows someone who is going to sell 2 of his deltas, i´d be very happy and i think i can pay well for them!

ah, and the other cards i need are foil jap grim monolith and jap foil merchant scroll, but these should not be so tough to find...

today i won the jap foil memory jar on auction, what a luck that i had my lunch break at that time! and i got my brainstorm for a good deal, just waiting for the mail now!

I hate when ppl say that it's not a sale thread he is just inquiring if anyone knows some one he can talk to. Ppl will be like Goto mtgo and see there but it's crap there the people there that have the good stuff don't waste there time going through peoples need lists. This would be the best group to ask because we regularly read posts here in the bragging pimp forum. How many of us read the need lists in mtgo regularly? Most of our acquisitions are through friends and other who enjoy pimping. I understand not making deals in the forum, that's obvious. But for a fellow pimper looking for help, this should be where he should be asking. Pm him or email works. I would much rather see this kind of post rather than people complaining about grammar and punctuation. Sorry but I have had a few of my posts asking for help deleted because it's not a sales thread all I said was anyone know where I can get such and such card. I understand the source doesn' t want to be held liable if a deal goes awry. Do you hold eBay accountable if you order something and it doesn't arrive, no the seller is. i want to post my deck when it´s ready, but it´s not, and i dont know why ertais familiar is complaining about me, i have posted some german pimp stuff, some korean goodies aswell, but nothing that´s actually part of my deck, but just because it´s not ready.

and probably people will complain when i post it, because it´s vintage and not legacy, but i´ve seen vintage decks aswell here and i liked them quite a lot!

I seem to recall that Korean WB 5E cards are much harder to find (smaller print run?) despite the fact that they're WB, they seem to be rarer. I might be wrong on this.

Perhaps, if you're trying to make a subjective case for it. I don't argue with people who play guru or some other foil basics over summer, though. I myself play beta duals over summer, although part of that is because I don't believe I need to stroke my ego to the extent that I potentially damage irreplaceable items. In the end, it's all down to preference, or I'd be sitting on my high horse and screaming at everyone who has the audacity to play CoTs that aren't foil.

In any case, nice cards, everyone. I rarely post scans, but I'm close to completing a transaction for some really nice misprint foil staples from MM with very shifted foiling and text -- I'll see if I can post scans after I receive. They are quite nice.

I don't mind the DCI and FNM stamps on the text boxes, because all i am concerned about now is foiling.
The Dark Rituals(soon to be MM Foil) and Ad Nauseam are Japanese.

I'm starting to feel that foils/pimp are giving me a disadvantage in MTG. I'm known for my love of foils and pricey cards so dealers and players like to overcharge me. It's gotten to the extent that I find it cheaper to just order from ABUgames (and ABU is the most expensive online retailer). In EDH, I get mass raped by everyone because my T1 Fetch into FBB Underground Sea costs more than people's decks. :( Plain english non-foil= Secret Tech for Winning in EDH.

Some advertising for Steel Stompy. This deck is really fun to play, and has pretty good matchups for most parts with the only weakness in artifact-hate and Junk, which is why I'm pimp'in it :P

Talking about stuff that's hard to find, does anyone know where to find Chinese Wastelands? So far I've only seen three and only had the chance to pick up one of them. I've been looking for then on eBay and Magiccardmarket for ages now, but it seems I won't be able to ever finish my Team America or whatever tempo deck I decide to play.

I too have been hunting for Chinese wastelands for my fish deck, not an easy find. As far as the foreign language discussion goes for my own decks I like asian non foils better then any other cards. Foils seem to degrade faster then regular cards and I don't like not being able to foil things like force.

Seems a little bit powerful but you can only use it to cast artifacts so it's a little limited in use in Legacy, it should be unbanned.

Why Vorosh? The colors fit well for EDH/your playstyle? Also, I think Foil DCI Wastelands have surpassed Korean Wastelands now. Well before the price hike from SCG, Koreans were about $10 above foil versions. Do you prefer Korean over foil whenever possible?

I like the Korean Desertion, JP Foil Treachery, and JP Foil pain lands. I think the pain lands are pretty awesome, if a bit low on the pimp spectrum.

Singapore has zero japanese foils anywhere. Every single foil is from Japan.

I played a Tournament back in December and got paired against an all jap. foil elves deck with (!!!!) NM/Mint (!!!) Beta Duals...
I did not really get what the guy was doing, but Storm Combo usually beats Elves (so I did). But I have to say that I was quite concerned to not get all of his actions simply because I could at no state tell what his dudes were doing, apart from mana cost.

Pimp cards can distract especially with alternate artworks you've never seen before or random cards no one knows. In those cases I'll allways ask a Judge to confirm... That is time both players can avoid -> disadvantage.

Don't get me wrong though. I enjoy playing against opponents with foil decks because I feel it shows how much a player loves his cards or Deck. I just want to make sure everyone has the same chance of winning. ;)

That city of brass is cool but I don't believe those cards have regular backs and are therefore not considered legal although EDH is generally a casual format. It's nice that the format was officially acknowledged though.

The Euros are always like this. I would be hesitant to point the following out if so many of them were not so condescending and pretentious about “PIMP” cards.

I laugh at the tons of Japanese Foil shit they repost over and over in multiple decks with only a few cards varying from list to list.

On top of that the majority of their cards are altered so fucking horribly you can't even recognize the original artwork. (Anyone link Pizero’s ugly ass Moxen set?)

Don’t even get me started on the condition of the cards. What did a toddler chew on it?

No class and no personality.

Sorry for over generalizing regarding Euros I know a lot of you guys are pretty tight and friendly.

For what it's worth, I think those Missteps are awesome. I see too many Japanese foils to care about that junk. I just resell if I get them. I'd much rather have English. Though I do like some foreign stuff like German/Portuguese Forces, FBB duals, the German drudge skeletons, and of course a German Mystic Snake, Jace, or Countryside Crusher always makes me smile. Some Russian cards look quite nice in that language, but I can read that one so it's not that special.

Serious pimp, man. Me, I'm a fan of English non-foil. There is a beauty to simplicity, and it doesn't hurt that it's cheap. I go for older editions, but that's about it.

The blurred cards in the top left corner of the final pic is Palinchron and Minion Reflector. Think for a minute, yeap infinite dudes, infinite mana. Pretty proud I came up with that myself. Minion reflector is kick ass with Sharuum, letting you get back 2 pieces from the graveyard/ killing sharuum so that you can replay her. Palinchron by itself is a pretty good free body. Last pieces for the deck were the Foil Metamorph, the Imperial Seal and the Transmute Artifact. Finally!

I am not the owner of this card, I saw it in a tournament, and the picture above is a montage I made with Paint to give you an idea of what the object looks like. The korean text I put on the image is not exactly the same text as that wich was printed on the card, but it's quite similar.

I would like to know if it could be real (maybe it was a fake, I don't know), and if it would be woth anything.

Actually the Clamp are a group of japanese female mangakas. The most part of their work are targeted to teenagers (either female or male teen) but some works are enjoyable even for older people. They're one of the most successfull mangaka team in Japan. I own/have read various series from them.

Writing in Manga is going to be worse than writing by John Steinbeck, Anthony Burgess, George R.R. Martin, or other such literary geniuses. This point is not up for debate, if you think otherwise, you are an idiot who cannot comprehend what you read.
