I don't doubt it. I was trying to sell mine for 850 just last month and everyone said it was too high. I just laughed. You need to find the right buyer, and you can usually get what you want out of a card.

I'm just happy I don't play anything with Jaces. Picking up 3 or 4 German foils would be a pain.

In general, Chinese is blockier and more angular than Japanese, which has curvier and more flowing characters.

Chinese characters are also generally more dense and complicated than Japanese or Korean.

Writing in japanese & chinese cards is pretty different, also fonts are pretty different, japanese is smaller, while chinese is pretty big and in some cases chunky. Look at few known examples and you will get hang of it pretty fast.

I noticed this auction and I messaged the seller about it. He was very good about disclosing the shuffle crease. Knowing how little damaged cards are worth, I didn't bother bidding.

No problem. The biggest problem I find getting cards these days relates to incorrectly stated condition. A lot of sellers seem happy to describe an EX card as NM and a heavy play card as light play. It's fraud as far as I'm concerned and I don't let them get away with it. Collectors and pimps don't just want a card, they want a specific version of a card in a particular condition.

Oh...wow. You people with extreme value not playing double sleeved make my head spin. My decks aren't extremely valuable, but double-sleeving has already saved countless scratches and even some water damage when I put a slightly leaky water bottle in my bag.

The "coolest" stuff I had at one point was an entire set of unlimited, 1 per only, but that was back in 2005.

Now it's just basically a complete goblins deck, stax deck, pox & High tide, in which High Tide is basically foiled out or has a bunch of promo's in it. I also had a foil affinity deck I let go about a year ago because it was just pure collection as I'd just never play affinity in Legacy, and Modern is still a mess.

I've thought about foiling out the prison stax deck, but as much as I love the deck, I don't quite love it THAT much.

Pro-tip: don't put a water bottle in your bag with your cards. It's a major no-no.

Perfect fits makes it harder to riffle shuffle, that's why. Otherwise I'd likely use them.

Those dark depths will go except for a playset. Only trying to make enough on them so my depths are free/cost a little less. not trying to make criminal profits on them. I provide cards for 2 Brothers, 1 cousin, and about 4/5 friends.

As for the artificers intuitions, i admit that i am hoarding those. If you knew goyf was as good as it is, and foil goyfs were only 3 dollars each youd buy them up too. Im willing to risk a bet on a.i. Cause the ard will only get better and there are already a couple of good combos with it

Lands are always interesting decision on pimping.

StarCity is selling Beta islands at 6USD / 4.64 EUR - Is the alter worth the 300% markup to you? If it is, go for it!

One thing to keep in mind, if you play anything with more than five islands, you're not likely to find more of these to make your whole land base match - how much that matters is up to you.

It would be a hard choice between a Beta Sol ring or A German one for me, I find that if 2 cards are identical in almost every way I would prefer the foreign one. Beta is worth more sure, but German is just awesome.

It started out as 'The Russian General Project' last year at Gencon when the Toad gifted me a dumpster full of russian rares. Now I'm working back through and trying to get German or Chinese versions of all the older generals, Visara in the mother tongue is also pretty fierce ... Visara die Fürchterliche.

I have completed the "Get All Non-Un Set Legendary Creatures" and the "All Original Foil Copies of Non-Un Set Foil-Available Legendary Creatures"; I am thinking about going for non-English copies of all nonfoil Legends (except those from Legends; English is better), but haven't decided on that yet. German would be ideal, though.

Obvious Trading Post is obvious. I could get it back and blow anything up while preserving my 3Balls and Spheres and Crucible. His win con was like Clique or something attached to skull. He had to read it like 10 times as I EEed to my hearts content with indestructible artifacts enduring the explosion. My UBTezzerstaxx deck is a close second to M0@TStompy in fun to play legacy.
